- Not all that romantic actually...we were in florida on his R&R from Iraq at his sisters. we were laying in bed having a heart to heart and he handed me the ring and at first i didnt know what he was handing me. then i opened my hand there was the ring. He took it from me and slipped it on my ring finger and asked will you marry me.
